One of the hardest thing for us on the West Coast, when it comes to the Caribbean travel is THE LAYOVERS…. Ugh. However you look at it, other than a non-stop flight to Cancun, Mexico, we don’t have any Caribbean non-stop flight from LAX or pretty much anywhere from the West Coast. Until now!

This flight was just announced and it’s perfect for my nervous fliers. And with no difficult entry requirements, Cayman Islands are traveler friendly.
Effective August 24, 2002, all travelers—vaccinated and unvaccinated—are permitted to enter the Cayman Islands, via air or sea, without the need of any additional documents or health-related steps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Travelers are NOT required to:
- Apply for a Travel Declaration or Travel Request via Travel Cayman
- Present a negative COVID-19 test
- Show proof of vaccination
- Wear masks

Cayman Islands consists of 3 islands. Put yourself on the map in Grand Cayman, venture off the path in Cayman Brac, and then have the world to yourself in Little Cayman, as these islands complement each other perfectly. Advntures and activities are abundant. From culinary tours, hiking, birding, caving, horseback riding, to the magical coral reefs around the islands providing one of the most exciting Caribbean scuba diving and snorkeling experiences. One of it’s most famous attraction is the Stingray Alley where you can swim and interact with these magical creatures.

This flight will be in operation only through March 2023, once a week. So if you ever had a wish to visit this magical Caribbean oasis, now is the time!
